Open TestPrep provides free exam-prep study materials, practice questions, explanations, and optional AI study help. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

You can use the public practice pages without creating an account. Login is required only for account-based features such as optional AI study help.

We collect information you provide directly, such as account details, feedback form messages, optional contact email addresses, and prompts or question context submitted when you use AI study help.

We may also collect operational information such as session records, user-agent strings, page paths submitted with feedback, timestamps, and AI usage records used for quota and abuse-prevention checks.

We use information to operate the site, authenticate users, provide optional AI study help, enforce usage limits, respond to feedback, debug issues, protect the service, and improve study materials.

We do not use the feedback widget to create a public profile, and we do not require an account for ordinary practice-page access.

If you create an account or sign in, we store account and session information needed to authenticate you and keep the service secure. Authentication records may include your name, email address, provider account identifiers, session tokens, verification records, timestamps, IP address, and user-agent information when provided by the authentication flow.

AI study help is optional and requires login. When you use it, the current question context and your request may be sent to the configured AI provider so the provider can generate a focused explanation or similar-question response.

We store AI usage logs to apply daily limits, reduce abuse, and operate the feature. Do not submit sensitive personal information through AI prompts.

The feedback widget lets you request coverage, report a problem, or send general feedback. Feedback submissions may include your message, selected feedback type, optional contact email, page path, user agent, and submission time.

Feedback is used to prioritize content, investigate issues, and follow up when you choose to provide contact information.

The current MVP does not enable a real ad network by default and keeps analytics disabled by default. If analytics or advertising is added later, this policy should be updated to describe the provider and the information involved.

We use cookies and similar storage when needed for authentication, sessions, security, and basic site operation. Your browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, but some account features may not work without them.

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the site, such as hosting, database, authentication, and configured AI infrastructure. These providers process information on our behalf or according to their own terms where applicable.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse of the service. We do not sell personal information.

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the product. Retention periods may vary by record type.

Open TestPrep is intended for users preparing for licensing, certification, and similar exams. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You can use public practice pages without an account. You can choose not to provide optional feedback contact information. You can also avoid sending personal information in feedback messages or AI prompts.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The updated version will show a new last-updated date. Continued use of the service after an update means the revised policy applies going forward.
